 Disappointment January 2, 2009
Did not come with a remote control. The box states that a remote control was included but there was none present. What a disappointmant for my grandaughter when she opened it and couldn't set the clock!!!
My email to the site recommended by Amazon has not resulted in a reply to date. So much for ordering on line from Amazon!!!

 Great purchase December 30, 2008
I purchased this Ihome speaker system for my 11 year old daughter to use primarily as an ipod docking station, with the alarm clock as an added bonus. I am happy to say that she loves it! Her favorite feature is the remote control-she says she can do so many cool things with it, even scroll through her Coverplays, which she loves to do. The sound is more than fine for her-we were not looking for something to rock the house! This is just perfect.

Sound quality of the unit is just OK. I bought it for my 10 year old so for now it's OK but would upgrade as she gets older.

This is a nice product with nice features. Bought it for my 13-year-old daughter. She likes the battery backup, which makes it portable. The device's internal lighting is extremely bright. It's like having a bright night light. Not recommended for the bedroom for anyone who likes to sleep in the dark.
Bright pink side lights November 27, 2008
It's great for the price and I thought the sound quality was fine. The decorative pink side ights are very (very) bright. It lights up the entire room at night. I had to turn it to the wall so I could sleep. I was looking for an inexpensive yet attractive way to keep my ipod charged.
